Interview Schedule Update
Just an update to let you know that we'll be publishing the next interview with David Hancock, author of 'The Complete Medical Tourist' in a few days. Next up after that is an interview with Jeffrey Schult, author of 'Beauty from Afar'. Still no confirmation from Blue Cross Blue Shield, SC for an interview, but I'm hopeful that they'll come through.
I have to say that these interviews have been really interesting, and offer an inside view of the people and companies involved in medical tourism. You get to know them personally, and understand their motivations. Believe me, it's not all about money. They really care about making a difference, and the amount of hard work and research these authors have put in is simply incredible. They went to hospitals in Thailand and India and Singapore and Costa Rica and other countries, to see first hand what the patients would see, when they arrived. They have listed in their books emails and phone numbers and the names of people and hospitals, detailing exactly what each hospital has to offer, costs and anything else which their readers and prospective patients need to know about.
If it were up to me, I'd simply take all these books, scan them and put their entire contents, as is, on this blog. You don't really need to know anything else. But, the world being what it is, there's no free meal, and you and me, like everyone else, have to pay to read their books. At least we can hear what they have to say about their books and medical tourism. If anyone has any questions in mind for any of these authors, or for someone not mentioned here, please post in the comments, and I promise, you'll have the answer before the sun rises ( Ok, maybe a couple of sun rises, or more like a dozen sun rises - But you'll get the answer.) That's a promise.
